General Questions

I do not see an option to sign up for Breakout Workshops on the registration form. Is this a change?

You will have the opportunity to select whichever Breakout Session you'd like to watch the day of the event. There is no need to pre-select these sessions during registration, for either the In Person or Online Experience.

For those attending In Person, Breakout Workshops will be hosted in the largest venues on campus and we anticipate having enough capacity in each room. In the event a Breakout Workshop room becomes full, you may be asked to select a different Breakout Workshop. Remember, you may watch all workshops through the On Demand Replay after the event for 6 months.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Online Admission:

Refunds will not be extended for cancellations of the Online Admission. The entirety of the conference content will be available for participants for 6 months* after the live event ends. With this extended access there is no need to cancel your registration if you find you are unable to participate on the days of the live event.

*Note: The replay for the Keynote Session with Bob Goff is limited to 30 days after the event.

In-Person Admission:

Should you need to cancel your In-Person registration, we will exchange your In-Person Admission to an Online Only Admission and refund the difference in ticket price through August 17. After August 17, we can still transfer your In-Person Admission to an Online Admission, but we are unable to provide any refund.

Will CEU's be available?

Continuing Education Credits will be available for full participation. You will have the opportunity to download a CE certificate on the virtual conference platform on the day of the event. Blank certificates will be available for pick up at the Information Booth for In-Person participants. Certificates are issued by Church of the Resurrection and it is the responsibility of the participant to check with their authorizing organization on the acceptance of these CE Credits.

I am going to miss a session. Can I view it later?

Yes. All General Sessions and Breakout Workshops will be available for On Demand Replay through the Online Experience platform for 6 months after the event (for both Online and In-Person participants). (Note: The replay for the Keynote Session with Bob Goff is limited to 30 days after the event).

Early Bird Prices

We are unable to make exceptions or adjustments to pricing after the Early Bird deadlines (July 21 for In-Person and August 17 for Online). Your understanding is appreciated.

Where can I find resources from the General Sessions or Breakout Workshops?

Resources will be available on the Online Experience platform under the Documents tab, and available for download during and after the event. Resources will also be posted for easy access on ShareChurch.com after the event. If you do not already have a ShareChurch.com account, you will need to create one in order to download resources. Leadership Institute resources will be listed under Featured Resources on the Home page.

Can I attend the conference for just one day?

We encourage you to attend the entire event. There are no reduced registration fees for partial In-Person attendance. Should you miss any part of the conference, the On-Demand Replay of all sessions is available to all participants for 6 months (Note: The replay for the Keynote Session with Bob Goff is limited to 30 days after the event)

Questions About Attending In Person

Do you still have openings?

There is no capacity limitation for the Online Experience. The In-Person experience is limited to 500 participants. Openings are still available at this time.

If I participate In Person, do I still need to log in to the Online Experience platform?

Yes! As an In-Person participant, the Online Experience platform (mobile app) will be a valuable tool for you throughout and after the event. We invite you to follow instructions which will be emailed to all participants to log in to the Online Experience platform or download the mobile app. You will have access to the schedule, maps of the building, Breakout Workshop room numbers, speaker biographies and sponsor information through the app. You will also have the opportunity to connect with In Person and Online participants via Discussion Threads and Direct Messaging on the app.

After the event, you can log in to the Online Experience app or website to access the On Demand Replay of any of the General Sessions or Breakout Workshops.

Can you accommodate a dietary restriction?

You will have the option to choose a vegetarian meal or a gluten sensitive meal during the registration process. While we recognize that there may be other dietary needs, we are unable to accommodate any other dietary restrictions at this time. Please plan accordingly. We appreciate your understanding.

Will childcare be provided?

While children are a high priority at Church of the Resurrection, this is an adult training event and childcare is not available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Questions About Attending Online

I didn't receive a confirmation email and concerned I won't receive the instructions to view the event online.

It is important you can receive emails from our registration provider, Cvent. When emails for our event are delivered, they come from a Cvent domain behind the scenes. Sometimes the firewalls of your email system will block group emails to protect your system. If you did not receive a confirmation email, here are some suggested steps to take:

  1. Check your Junk/Spam folders for an email from sharechurchconferences@cor.org or an email with the domains: cvent.com, cvent.me, cvent-planner.com or cventmail.com
  2. Whitelist (approve sender) the following: sharechurchconferences@cor.org or an email with the domains: cvent.com, cvent.me, cvent-planner.com or cventmail.com. Ask your IT department for instructions on how to whitelist or approve a sender in your Email Client.
  3.  Check with your IT department to ensure these domains can get past your firewall: cvent.com, cvent.me, cvent-planner.com or cventmail.com. Contact us if you need a list of IP Addresses.
  4. Email us at sharechurchconferences@cor.org and we will work with you.

How do I access the Online Conference on the day of the event?

Instructions will be emailed to all registered participants the week of the conference. The Online Event Platform is easy to access and navigate (using your email address and a password you select). We will provide step-by-step, easy to follow instructions.

Do we need a separate online registration for everyone in our group?

Yes. Each online registration purchased is intended for one participant. This is on the honor system. Each participant needs their own registration with a unique email address to access the Online Experience platform and for the 6 month access to the video library after the live event.

We trust if your team intends to watch the conference together that you will purchase a registration for each participant. Alternatively, you may purchase a Watch Party Admission in increments of 10 participants. Learn more about Watch Parties on the <<Registration page.>>

Can we register Online and In-Person guests on the same registration?

Yes. You can register Online attendees and In-Person attendees in your group on the same registration form. You will select the In-Person or Online experience on the Registration Items page for each attendee. You may register up to 20 attendees on one form.

We want to register a large group. Can you help?

Yes! We are so grateful you have a large group participating at Leadership Institute. You can register up to 20 guests on the registration form; however, if you’d like assistance, call us at 913-232-4139 or email us at sharechurchconferences@cor.org so we can connect and determine the best way for your large group to register. We will work to make the process as simple as possible for you.

Is there special pricing for students, young adults, international guests or groups?

Leadership Institute 2021 is packed with speakers and do-not-miss content. The Online Experience Admission is value priced with the intention of being accessible by all leaders. As such, there are no discounted prices beyond the Early Bird pricing for the Online Experience. There is a Young Adult (under 30) price of $129 for the In-Person Admission. As an alternative, consider bringing together a group to view the conference together through a Watch Party for 10, which is offered a reduced price of $549.

What should I do if one of our group members does not have an email address?

Our registration software and Online Experience platform requires that each participant registers and logs in using a unique email address. We are unable to make an exception. If someone from your group does not have an email address, we recommend using a general church email address, the personal email address for someone else in your group or creating a gmail account for this group member.

Why am I receiving an error on the payment screen during registration?

Over time, we've found most credit card payment errors are due to an Address Mismatch. Please be sure the billing address entered on the Payment Information page matches the billing information on file with your credit card company (the address where you receive your credit card bill). If you are unable to complete your payment, select to Pay by Check and finish the registration. Then, contact us at sharechurchconferences@cor.org or 913-232-4139 and we will assist you with a credit card payment.

If you are paying by check, please remit within 10 days of registration. The Registrar reserves the right to cancel check registrations not paid in full within 10 days after attempting to make contact. Please include name(s) and registration number(s) with check remittance.
